SPG Dry Cooling is an European and American engineered dry-cooling company and the world’s leading supplier of air-cooled condensers, with approximately 60% of the global ACC market for critical infrastructure. It builds on more than 140 years of engineering heritage and has been part of the Paharpur Group since 2016.

A single large air-cooled condenser can save approximately 2.5 million m³ of water every year compared with conventional evaporative cooling, roughly the annual domestic water needs of more than 100,000 people.
SPG Dry Cooling has been part of the Paharpur Group since 2016. The acquisition represents a distinctive India–EU industrial partnership and one of the largest investments made by a privately owned Indian business in Belgium.
SPG Dry Cooling serves power generation, nuclear, hydrogen, carbon capture, data centers, oil and gas, heavy industry and emerging industrial applications.
SPG technology supports more than 200 GW of installed power-generation capacity worldwide, equivalent to seven times Belgium’s entire installed generating capacity.
The Hypercooler is SPG Dry Cooling’s dry-cooling solution for large industrial projects such as data centers, hydrogen and power generation. It combines the best features of SPG’s air-cooled condenser, Infinium and air-cooled heat exchanger technologies and is designed for projects from about 10 MW to several GW.
SPG Dry Cooling is an engineering company headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. It operates worldwide, with dedicated regional teams that tailor each design to local conditions.
SPG Dry Cooling designs air-cooled heat rejection systems for power generation, industrial plants and data centers. Its services cover engineering and design of custom dry and hybrid cooling systems, manufacturing and project execution for large installations, construction and installation within complex plants, and aftermarket services such as performance optimization, upgrades and maintenance.
SPG Dry Cooling’s roots go back to Dürr (founded 1883) and Balcke (founded 1894), which merged in 1972. SPX acquired Balcke-Dürr in 2002, and in 2016 Paharpur acquired SPX’s dry cooling division, which was renamed SPG Dry Cooling. SPG has completed installations since 1948, with more than 62,000 completed installations.
SPG’s manufacturing network includes the Zhangjiakou plant in China, described as the largest and most modern ACC fin tube bundle plant in the world, and the Savli plants, which together provide annual capacity of up to 16,000 bundles, depending on configuration and project mix.
SPG Dry Cooling works alongside leading global energy and technology companies, including Siemens Energy, GE and Mitsubishi.
