SPG Dry Cooling is seeking a technically driven, customer-facing Performance Engineer to lead the execution of our ACC360 digital performance monitoring platform. This role bridges analytics and action—transforming data into actionable technical solutions and uncovering aftermarket sales opportunities that drive long-term value for our customers
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead technical developer for ACC360 projects, ensuring timely delivery and execution.
- Generate and validate ACC360 reports confirming accuracy and relevance.
- Develop performance improvement recommendations, including mechanical upgrades, control logic changes, and cleaning strategies.
- Generate proposals and ROI calculations to present findings and solutions to customers—plant managers, operators, and engineers—onsite or remotely.
- Collaborate with the sales team to convert identified opportunities into concrete and sales.
- Interface with SPG’s engineering team to coordinate data analysis, reporting schedules, and ongoing improvements.
- Track execution progress, provide technical documentation, and follow up on customer satisfaction and system impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent related degree or practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience in thermal systems, power generation, or industrial services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Good working knowledge of Python for data validation, light automation, and collaboration with analytics workflows.
- Understanding of performance analytics and thermal systems, ideally in air-cooled condenser (ACC) environments.
- Experience in aftermarket services, technical sales, or project execution preferred.
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and working cross-functionally with international teams.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with air-cooled condensers, steam cycle components, and power plant operations.
- Exposure to digital monitoring tools, control system logic, or predictive maintenance technologies.
- CRM experience and proposal generation.
