Our team recently came together to celebrate 30 years of our manufacturing plant. It was a day to honor three decades of teamwork, growth, and shared success.
Alongside this celebration, we also marked the retirement of our General Manager, Mr. Chen Zhanyong. His departure closes a remarkable chapter in the plant’s story. During a special dinner, we reflected on his leadership and the lasting impact he made. We thank him sincerely and wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement.
This milestone also gave us a chance to look back. In 1995, the manufacturing plant was founded as a joint venture between German company Deutsche Babcock Balcke-Dürr AG (BDAG) and Zhangjiakou Oxygen Generating Equipment Company. At the time, it was the first foreign investment in the city—a major step forward.
In the early years, BDAG sent senior engineers, technical experts, and management consultants from Germany to China. They helped set up production lines and adapted the ISO 9001 quality system and German Industrial Standards (DIN) for local use.
In 2005, the joint venture became a wholly owned foreign company. Since then, the site has grown steadily. Today, it is the world’s largest manufacturing site for SRC tube bundles.
In 2018, we moved to a new location. This move marked another step in our journey of innovation and progress.
As we celebrate this anniversary, we look ahead with confidence. Our history gives us pride, and our future gives us purpose.
