Role Purpose

To manage end-to-end inside sales and application engineering activities for ACHE and small-size ACC (Industrial Dry Cooling Solutions) across the MEA region. The role focuses on disciplined CRM usage, strong techno-commercial understanding, proactive customer engagement, and high responsiveness, with a clear development path into front-end sales within 1–2 years.

Main duties

  • Receive RFQs related to ACHE and small ACC (industrial dry cooling) from customers, consultants, and EPCs.
  • Engage with customers from the RFQ stage to extract 360-degree project insights, including:
  • Process conditions and operating philosophy, Decision-making structure, Project timelines, Competitive landscape
  • Register all enquiries in INFOR CRM with complete and accurate information before any technical or commercial engagement.
  • Generate and share INFOR opportunity numbers for each RFQ sent to SPG Spain / PCTL India / relevant manufacturing units.
  • Prepare and issue internal RFQs to the ACHE / ACC- Industrial Solutions Business Units after clearly understanding:
  • Thermal and process requirements, Mechanical scope and applicable codes, Project background with maximum insights
  • Required quotation timelines
  • Follow up internally to ensure quotations are received within agreed timelines.
  • Review and understand proposals received from the factory teams in detail before customer submission.
  • Prepare compliance statements with support from SPG Spain / PCTL India teams.
  • Prepare technical submissions post-LOI to obtain technical approval prior to official PO issuance.
  • Handle technical clarifications directly and proactively with customers and consultants.
  • Avoid acting as a post-man; take ownership of clarifications while coordinating internally where required.
  • Develop strong technical confidence to independently engage customers.
  • Conduct weekly follow-ups for all opportunities below USD 500,000.
  • Track customer feedback, update INFOR regularly, and escalate risks or opportunities to sales leadership.
  • Lead and support pre-qualification activities for ACHE and small ACC solutions with:
  • End users, FEED Consultants, EPCs, Government authorities ( Including Oil & Gas clients like ADNOC)
  • Support enquiry generation through cold calls and proactive outreach across the MEA region and relevant vertical markets.
  • Be highly responsive, proactive, and solution-oriented, anticipating customer needs.
  • Be KPI-driven, with accountability for: RFQ turnaround time, Proposal quality, Follow-up discipline, INFOR hygiene
  • Actively contribute to sharing ideas to grow business, team building, process improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Demonstrate the ability to balance customer interests and company interests.
     

Required profile

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Experience or exposure to ACHE, ACC, dry cooling systems, or industrial air coolers preferred.
  • Basic understanding of thermal processes, heat exchangers, and industrial cooling applications is an advantage.
  • Strong learning mindset with high ownership mentality.
  • Clear aspiration to grow into a front-end sales role.
  • Enterprising, self-driven, and team-oriented.
  • Passionate about performance and delivery, not limited to an 8-to-5 mindset.
