Job description

Are you a motivated, young engineer eager to combine your technical expertise with the dynamic world of procurement? We are offering a unique 6 months program within our Engineering Department, where you will receive hands-on training on our cutting-edge products and technologies. Following this immersive training period, you will transition to our Supply Chain Department to take on the role of Technical Buyer, where you will be responsible for procuring critical materials, technical support and services for our innovative projects.

 

Duties

Main duties

During your 6 months journey within engineering department  you will:

  • Collaborate with engineers to gain a comprehensive understanding of our products, components, and technical specifications.
  • Learn to assess and identify technical requirements, ensuring you can effectively translate these into procurement needs.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects, gaining insight into how engineering decisions impact the supply chain.

 

Once integrated into the Supply Chain Department, your responsibilities as a Technical Buyer will include:

  • Supplier Management: Identify, qualify, and develop relationships with new suppliers, ensuring they meet our high technical and quality standards.
  • Request for Quotations (RFQs): Issue RFQs for assigned materials and services, ensuring all documentation aligns with project specifications.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Compare offers and negotiate pricing and terms in alignment with project budgets and technical requirements.
  • Purchase Orders: Prepare and manage purchase orders through INFOR, ensuring timely approvals and order placement.
  • Order Follow-Up: Monitor order progress, manage supplier communications, and ensure all documentation (e.g., acceptance forms) is collected and filed.
  • Display and live Company values (Teamwork, Customer Focus, Passion & Determination, Respect, Humility).

Skills

Required profile

  • Master Degree in Engineering (graduating in 2025) or have a maximum of 3 years experience
  • Passion for both engineering and supply chain processes, with a keen interest in procurement.
  • Technical Curiosity: Ability to quickly grasp complex technical information and translate it into procurement actions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with ERP systems like INFOR is a plus, with a willingness to learn and grow in this area.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel
